TUESDAY, January 16, 2018:  Tanya Lee will lead a workshop on tile painting using alcohol ink in the Meeting Room at the Bedford Public Library beginning at 12:45 PM

TUESDAY, February 20, 2018:  Polymer artist Katharine Fast will conduct a polymer clay workshop from 10am to 3pm with a 1/2-hour lunch break (BYO lunch).   Following a presentation of the process, Kat will conduct a hands-on session in which the participants will create beads and jewelry and/or other objects.  This workshop is free for members, but there will be a small materials fee (about $10 or a little more) to be paid to Kat at the time of the workshop, which will take place in the Vestry at the First Church of Christ, 25 Great Road, Bedford.  Sign-up will be required.  Kat’s website is http://katfast.com  Kat does beautiful paintings but this workshop will showcase her talent with polymer.

TUESDAY, March 20, 2018: Linda Branch Dunn will lead us in a collage workshop from 1:00 to 4:00PM in the Flint Room at the Town Center Building. There will be a $5 materials fee payable to the instructor and a materials list of supplies to bring.  Sign-up will be required.

TUESDAY, April 17, 2018:  Artist Tom Gill will present an acrylic painting demonstration in the Meeting Room of the Bedford Public Library, 7 Mudge Way,  starting at 6:30pm.  Tom was a rock musician in the 1980s, and when deciding between art and music, he chose art.  He studied at the Art Institute of Boston.  Tom was born in Lowell and grew up in Chelmsford and is a member of several art societies including the Chelmsford Art Society.

TUESDAY, May 15, 2018:  Artist Valerie Borgal will present a watercolor demonstration at 6:30pm in the Meeting Room of the Bedford Public Library, 7 Mudge Way, starting at 6:30pm.  To learn more about Valerie, visit her website: http://www.valeriejeannesart.com/  Valerie studied art in Montreal with a well-know Canadian artist and then attended art school in Canada.  She grew up in greater Boston and is a member of several art societies.

TUESDAY, February 21, 2017:  Collage artist Alexandra Sheldon conducted a collage workshop.  Alexandra has taught at Concord Art and other organizations.


 

TUESDAY, March 21:  Bedford artist Jean Hammond presented a workshop on making books.
