Amelia will be attending Mass College of Art this fall. She will not be declaring a major until her sophomore year because the college encourages students to try a variety of classes before deciding.
Most of her current work are paintings in acrylics. Her favorite subject is people. She also draws, does ceramics and collage.
Her inspiration comes from being a political activist focusing on femininity.
Amelia was recognized with a first- place award for one of her painting in the 2023 Congressional Art Awards. Over 18 Massachusetts schools submitted student art for this competition.
