Judith A. Barber

Judith A. Barber of Plymouth, MA (formerly from Bedford, MA) has been a watercolor artist for over seventeen years and has been involved with matting and the framing of paintings. She has exhibited in Bedford, Lexington, Burlington, Plymouth and the Cape Cod area. For many years Judith has also participated in the Town of Plymouth’s special exhibit featuring the treasurers of the town. Judith was considered the “island painter” at Onset Island, MA.

Judith studied with Margrit Mason and Merry Gerber of Bedford and Andrew Kusman and Anthony Visco of Plymouth.
She also studied at DeCordva Museum. Judith has been a member of the Bedford Arts and Crafts Society and the Plymouth Art Guild. Judith’s focus is on nature, particularly sea and landscapes and trees. She also loves painting people including portraits.
